First edition of Business & Buurt Café brings entrepreneurs together in Amsterdam Zuidoost
On Thursday 9 July, the very first edition of the Business & Buurt Café took place at Nexpace. Together with Zuidoost City, we brought together entrepreneurs, professionals, organisations and local partners from Amsterdam Zuidoost for an afternoon full of inspiring conversations, valuable encounters and new collaborations.
With this new initiative, Nexpace and Zuidoost City want to help create a stronger business climate in which sharing knowledge, supporting one another and growing together are at the heart of everything.
More than a networking event
The Business & Buurt Café showed that networking goes far beyond exchanging business cards. Participants were invited to share their business questions, challenges and ambitions with one another. This led to open discussions about, among other things, growth, financing, collaboration, acquisition and organisational development.
It was precisely these personal conversations that provided new insights, valuable connections and the first steps towards future collaborations.
An inspiring contribution from Rabobank
An important part of this first edition was the presentation by Rabobank, in which entrepreneurs were taken through the opportunities around entrepreneurship, business development, financing and available subsidies.
The practical examples and concrete advice gave participants immediately applicable insights and formed a valuable addition to the conversations that took place throughout the afternoon.
Building a strong entrepreneurs’ network together
